What's Different About the Sonic® Lite RV?

Unlike many traditional travel trailers, the Sonic Lite has just one axel. The roof is constructed from a single arched piece of fiberglass. These features reduce weight and create a strong, stable frame. In fact, each Sonic Lite model weighs between 3,000 and 3,570 pounds. Since many SUVs and light-duty trucks have towing capacities up to 5,000 pounds, you can tow these travel trailers without investing in a full-size pickup.

Sonic® Lite RV Floor Plans

The Sonic Lite RV is available in six different floor plans that sleep between two and six people. 

  • SL150VRB: This two-person model weighs 2,110 pounds and comes in at 19 feet, 11 inches long.
  • SL150VRK: The shortest and lightest Sonic Lite, this version is just 19 feet, 1 inch long. It sleeps two and weighs 3,000 pounds.
  • SL160VBH: This model comes in at 21 feet, 3 inches. It has space for four people and weighs 3,460 pounds.
  • SL169VMK: Measuring 21 feet, 1 inch, this version sleeps four people and weighs 3,400 pounds. It features a single slide-out with a dinette and a refrigerator.
  • SL169VRK: With a slide-out dinette that converts into a bed, this RV can sleep up to four people. It measures 22 feet, 1 inch long and weighs 3,570 pounds. It's the longest of the Sonic Lite models.
  • SL169VUDL: For maximum sleeping space, choose this floor plan; it comes with a double bunk, a slide-out convertible dinette, and a bed to accommodate six people. It weighs 3,410 pounds and comes in at 21 feet, 10 inches long.

Features of the Sonic Lite

Every floor plan in the Sonic Lite family includes pass-through storage, an awning, and flip-up steps. You'll also get a standard shower, toilet, and kitchen. Bed options vary — choose from Murphy beds, full-size beds, bunks, convertible sofas, and convertible dinettes.
